The petitioner, who has no criminal antecedents, is apprehending arrest in respect of offences punishable under sections 406/498-A IPC in FIR No.54 dated 29.06.2024 registered at Police Station Women Cell, Jalandhar. 2. The complainant is the wife of the petitioner. Marriage took place on 04.03.2022, whereas the FIR in respect of above said offences was lodged on 29.06.2024. 3. In matter of this nature, arrest may jeopardize the prospects of any settlement, since the rival parties are closely related by marriage, and therefore for that sake, this Court, in view of the statement of counsel for the State that there are no criminal antecedents of the petitioner, is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner, subject to his furnishing personal bond in the sum of Rs.1,00,000/- with two sureties of Rs.50,000/- each to the satisfaction of MOHIT GOYAL 2025.08.13 10:53 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document CRM-M-43828-2024 2 Arresting/Investigating Officer. 4.
