JUSTICE S G PANDIT) This contempt petition is filed complaining disobedience of order dated 09.12.2023 in Writ Petition No.105443/2021 (Lok-Adalath No.1664/2023) passed by the Lok-Adalath, High Court of Karnataka, Dharwad Bench, Dharwad. 2. The Lok-Adalath passed the following order: “In terms of the joint memo, petition stands disposed off. The respondent No.7 has agreed to send the proposal within two months relating to the pensionary benefits of the petitioner for settlement to the 4th respondent. The respondent No.4 has agreed to consider the case of the petitioner for settlement of pensionary benefits in accordance with law within a period of three moths for sanction of pensionary benefits.” 3. In terms of the joint memo, respondent No.7 agreed to send the proposal within 2 months relating to pensionary benefits of the complainant to respondent No.4 for settlement. Respondent No.4 had agreed to consider the - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC-D:15613-DB CCC No. 100212 of 2024 case of the complainant for settlement of pensionary benefits in accordance with law. 4. Learned counsel, Sri.Harsh Desai for respondents No.6 and 7 files memo dated 17.11.2025 and learned Additional Government Advocate files memo along with documents. 5. Annexure-R3 to objection filed by accused No.2 indicates that the proposal has been forwarded from accused No.2 under covering letter dated 11.09.2024. Based on the said proposal, under letter dated 19.05.2025 produced along with memo dated 17.11.2025 of respondent No.7, the State Government has addressed to the Accountant General in Karnataka, communicating sanction of the admissible pension to the complainant. Letter dated 20.06.2025 of the Accountant General enclosed to the memo filed by learned Additional Government Advocate would indicate finalization of pension claims of the complainant and it would further indicate that pension of - 5 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC-D:15613-DB CCC No. 100212 of 2024 ₹.75,300/- per month to the complainant has been sanctioned. Thus, we are of the considered view that there is substantial compliance of the order complained. 6. If there is further grievance, it is open for the complainant to approach the appropriate authority. 7. With the above, the contempt proceedings stands closed.
