1. The entire writ petition of the petitioners was premised on the ground that in the District Kulgam the quota meant for promotees for the post of Process Servers has been diverted to the direct recruits.
2. With a view to verify the fact, we called upon the Principal District and Session Judge, Kulgam to indicate the exact position of the posts of Process Server. The Principal District and Session Judge, Kulgam vide his communication dated 30-07-2025, has given the exact position of posts of Process Server, which is taken on record.
3. In view of the aforesaid communication, the total sanctioned strength of posts of Process Servers is 15. Out of 15 posts, 08 posts have been earmarked for promotees and 07 for the direct recruitment. It is also indicated that all the promotees
are in position, whereas 04 posts in the direct recruitment quota are lying vacant and had been notified for making selection.
4. Faced with the aforesaid position,
learned counsel appearing for the petitioners prays for permission to withdraw the writ petition. Statement of learned counsel is taken on record.
5. Dismissed as withdrawn.
