In the present appeal the appellant Surendra Hudiya was directed to be released on bail vide order dated 27.03.2019 but he was unable to furnish the bail bond and was detained in jail. A report dated 20.11.2024 submitted by the Jail Authorities, Central Jail, Ambikapur, intimating that the appellant Surendra Hudiya S/o Late Ramkishan Hudiya has completed his entire jail sentence and after completion of his sentence he has been released from jail 2 on 03.03.2021. A report dated 20.11.2024 sent by the Central Jail, Ambikapur has also been placed on record. 2. Learned counsel for the appellant would submit that since the appellant has already completed his jail sentence and released from jail after completion of his entire jail sentence, he does not want to press the appeal on behalf of the appellant. 3. In view of the submissions made by learned counsel for the appellant, the present criminal appeal is dismissed as not pressed.
