The petitioner by means of present petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner wants disposal of rent case no. D202205310002486 of 2022 pending before the Prescribed Authority. It is submitted that even after service of summon, the tenant has put in appearance but no objection has been filed till date. In the given facts and circumstances of the case, this petition stands disposed of with direction to the rent authority to dispose of aforesaid pending matter after giving full opportunity to exchange the pleadings and also parties to lead their evidence as well as opportunity of hearing. The endeavour would be of the rent authority to conclude the entire proceedings within a stipulated period provided under Section 35(2) of the Act No. 16 of 2021.
