The present petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking following relief: “It is, therefore prayed that this Hon'ble Court may kindly be please to allow the petition and please to set-aside the impugned order dated 31/03/2017 and further quash the criminal proceedings pending before the Learned Magistrate in Criminal Case 810/16, in the interest of justice.” 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the matter has become infructuous as the trial has been concluded and the petitioner has been convicted. 4. Learned State counsel has no objection. 5.
