Present petition has been filed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.94 dated 21.05.2025 under Sections 61, 78(2) of Punjab Excise Act, 1914, registered at Police Station Sadar Jagraon, District Ludhiana. 2. Vide order dated 19.08.2025, while granting interim protection, the petitioner was directed to join the investigation. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that pursuant to order dated 19.08.2025, petitioner has joined the investigation and as such his interim bail may be made absolute. 4. Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Tarsem Singh, has affirmed the fact that the petitioner has joined the investigation and he is no more required for further investigation. 5. In view of the above, interim order dated 19.08.2025 is made absolute subject to compliance of conditions as envisaged under Section 482(2) of BNSS, 2023.
