2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Chausa P.S. Case No. 44/2024 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 25(1-B) a, 26, 35 of the Arms Act.
3. This is the second attempt of the petitioner for grant of bail. Earlier his application was rejected vide order dated 26.06.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 43699 of 2024.
4. There is recovery of countrymade pistols and live cartridges from the petitioner who is in jail since 23.02.2024.
5. It has been submitted by Mr. Shahi, learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner on instruction, that no witness has been examined in this case.
6. Considering the period of custody, let the petitioner
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.86110 of 2024(2) dt.08-01-2025 2/2 above named be released on bail, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned SDJM, Udakishunganj, Madhepura/ concerned court in connection with Chausa P.S. Case No. 44/2024, subject to the condition that both the bailors shall be close relatives of the petitioner.
7. The petitioner is directed to mark his attendance in Chausa police station on every Sunday of the month. Failure to do so, will result in cancellation of bail bond of the petitioner.
