In this writ petition, the petitioner is seeking direction against the respondents to make payment of salary to the petitioner for the month of February 2009 and March 2009 as well as release pension and other benefits to the petitioner. 2. Reply to the writ petition was filed on behalf of the respondents on 21.04.2010 in which it has been disclosed that due salary of the petitioner for the month of February 2009 and March 2009 has already been paid to the petitioner. Thereafter, [2025:RJ-JP:32107] (2 of 2) [CW-12919/2009] even payment of leave encashment has also been released and after issuing last pay certificate, even pension payment order and gratuity payment order have also been issued on 17.02.2009. 3. No rejoinder to the reply has been filed on behalf of the petitioner. 4. In view of the statements made in reply to the writ petition, no cause of action for pursuing the petition survives.
