It is the contention of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that the accused had induced the petitioner to invest in his company on the false promise that the petitioner would receive huge profits and thereby, cheated him to the tune of Rs.17 lakhs. However, till date, there is no progress in the investigation. Hence, he sought transfer of investigation to some other agency. 3. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), on instructions, submitted that the based on the complaint given, a case in Crime No.1 of 2023 was registered and the investigation is in progress. He further submitted that more than 180 depositors have been cheated by the accused to the tune of more than eight crores. Till date, one car of the accused has been attached and two properties have been identified. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record. 5. In view of the above, considering the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), this Court is of the considered opinion that specific progress have already been made by the Investigating Officer and the investigation is in progress. At this stage, this Court does not find any reason to transfer the investigation to some other agency. 6.
