The present petition has been filed under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short-'BNSS') for quashing of FIR No.0347 dated 23.11.2021, under Section 506, 342, 34, 323, 294 IPC 186 and Section 3(2)(VA), 3(1)(S) and 3(1)(R) of SC/ST Act, registered at Police Station Julana, District Jind (Annexure P-1) and all consequential proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise dated 05.07.2025 (Annexure P-2). 2. Notice of motion. 3. Mr. Tapan Masta, Addl. A.G, Haryana, accepts notice on behalf of respondent-State. 4. Mr. Bhavesh Ola, Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of respondent No.2-complainant and filed power of attorney on his behalf. The same is taken on record. 5. Learned State counsel as well as counsel for respondents No.2 confirm the factum of the compromise having been effected between the ANIL KUMAR 2025.08.07 17:22 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document CRM-M-40084-2025 2 parties and state that they have no objection to the quashing of the FIR in question. The original affidavit of the complainant dated 05.07.2025 (Annexure P-4) has been annexed with the main petition. 6. In that view of the matter, even if this case is taken to its logical conclusion, it would only be an exercise in futility as the parties have already settled their differences. Therefore, no useful purpose would be served in wasting the time and resources of the State in pursuing this case to its pre-ordained end. It would, therefore, be better to give a quietus to the issue at this stage. 7. Accordingly, the petition is allowed and FIR No.0347 dated 23.11.2021, under Section 506, 342, 34, 323, 294 IPC 186 and Section 3(2) (VA), 3(1)(S) and 3(1)(R) of SC/ST Act, registered at Police Station Julana, District Jind (Annexure P-1) and all the subsequent proceedings arising therefrom qua the petitioners shall stand quashed on the basis of compromise dated 05.07.2025 (Annexure P-2). However, this order is subject to payment of costs of Rs.5,000/- to be deposited with High Court Legal Services Committee, Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh. (H.S.
