JUSTICE M.NAGAPRASANNA) 1. The petitioner is before this Court seeking the following prayer: I. A writ in the nature of mandamus or any other writ, order or direction directing the respondent No.2 and 3 consider the complaint of the petitioner vide Annexure-E and F dated 21.10.2025 and 17.11.2025 and provide police protection to the petitioner and his family members, in the interest of justice and equity. II. Issue any other writ or direction or order the petitioner is found entitled to. 2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he owns certain agricultural land in which crops are today standing. Owing to the disturbance by the accused in C.C.No.1040 of 2020 and C.C.No.114 of 2016, the petitioner has submitted representation seeking police protection. The State is yet to consider the same and pass necessary orders in accordance with law. 3. The learned AGA submits that the case of the petitioner would be considered in strict consonance with the Circular dated 14.11.2018. - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC-D:17517 WP No. 109320 of 2025 4. In that light, the petition stands disposed directing the State to accord such protection in strict consonance with the aforesaid Circular, assessing the perception of threat to the possession or the enjoyment of the property in real time.
