The basic relief sought by the petitioner in the present petition is to direct the respondent no.2-Additional Labour Commissioner, Varanasi Region, Varanasi to decide the P.G. Case No.25 of 2024 (Hari Ram Vs. Mantri Shree Gandhi Ashram) expeditiously. 3. It is argued by counsel for the petitioner that proceedings were initiated by the petitioner by moving an application before the respondent no.2 namely Additional Labour Commissioner, Varanasi Region, Varansi for payment of gratuity under the Payment of Gratuity Act, 1972. It is further argued that though large number of dates were fixed but till date no final decision has been taken in the matter hence present writ petition. 4. In the facts and circumstances of the case, present writ petition is disposed of finally directing the respondent no.2 to decide the aforesaid case expeditiously without granting unnecessary adjournment unless there is no legal impediment.
