(Oral) By means of the instant petition, the petitioner seeks the following reliefs:- “(i) Issue orders, directions, writ in the nature of certiorari quashing the order dated 25.06.2025 (Annexure No.2) rejecting the issuance of character certificate based on presumptory police report dated 23.06.2025 (Annexure No.1) wherein it has been stated in Case Crime No.73 / 13 under section 419, 420, 467, 468, 471 investigation is going on. (ii) Issue any other suitable writ, order or direction which this Hon’ble Court may deem fit, just and proper in the circumstances of the case as also in the interest of justice. (iii) Allow the writ petition with costs.” 2. Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record. 3. At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the matter is squarely covered by the judgment dated 27.05.2014, passed by this Court in WPMS No.1176 of 2014, Krishna Pal Singh Chauhan vs. District Magistrate, Haridwar and others. 2 4.
