The petitioner is the wife, who is facing divorce proceedings on the file of Sub Court, Kancheepuram in HMOP No.267 of 2024. The petitioner, expressing inconvenience to travel all the way from Chennai, where she resides, to Kancheepuram for attending the proceedings initiated by the respondent and also being dependent on her aged parents, has come forward with the present request for transfer. The petitioner seeks transfer of the proceedings to the Sub Court, Alandur. 3. The respondent has not chosen to contest the request for transfer. Hence, the averments in Tr.C.M.P 1002 of 2025 that the petitioner is being put to great inconvenience is accepted. The petitioner also seeks transfer only to the Sub Court, Alandur, where the physical presence of the respondent also would not be mandatory for all hearing dates and hence no prejudice would be caused to the respondent if the transfer request of the petitioner/wife is acceded to. 4. In fine, Tr.C.M.P.No.1002 of 2025 is allowed and the proceedings in HMOP No.267 of 2024 is withdrawn from the file of Sub Court, Kancheepuram and the same is transferred to Sub Court, Alandur. 2/ https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis TR CMP No. 1002 of 2025 5. The Sub Court, Kancheepuram is directed to send the entire records relating to HMOP No.267 of 2024 to Sub Court, Alandur forthwith. No costs.
