2. Mr. Rakesh Kumar Joshi, Brief Holder for the State of Uttarakhand.
3. According to the petitioner, as Power of Attorney holder of his father, he executed an agreement to sell in favour of respondent nos. 3 to 5. He submits that since respondent nos. 3 to 5 were not present for execution of sale deed, therefore, sale deed could not be executed. He submits that those persons are now extending threat to the petitioner and also trying to encroach upon the land.
4. Learned State Counsel, however, submits that from the pleadings it appears that there is a property dispute between the parties and proper remedy for them is to approach a competent civil Court for their grievances. He submits that if there is any serious threat to life of petitioner, then he can approach the police authorities.
5. The writ petition is, therefore, disposed of with liberty to petitioner to approach the Station
2025:UHC:5754-DB House Officer, Police Station Manglour, District Haridwar for protection. The Station House Officer, Manglour shall assess the threat perception to the petitioner and adopt such measures as are deemed necessary.
6. Let a certified copy of this order be issued today itself.
