By means of this writ petition, petitioner has sought the following reliefs:- (i) Issue a Writ, Order or Direction in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondents to give Pension & Gratuity along with all service benefits to the petitioner after counting her services during the ‘Non-Grant’In-Aid’ as well as Grant-In-Aid period of the respondent no. 4 School (counting her entire service from 13.05.2002 to 31.03.2022). (ii) Issue a Writ, Order or Direction in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondents to allocate General Provident Fund (G.P.F.) Account Number to the petitioner and permit the petitioner to deposit entire G.P.F. deduction amount in the same Account herself. (iii) Issue a Writ, Order or Direction in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondents to release the Pension & Gratuity along with all other service benefits to the petitioner under the Old Pension Scheme i.e. applicable prior to 01.10.2005. 4. Learned State Counsel is right in submitting that the relief, as claimed in the writ petition, cannot be granted without making a formal demand. 5. This Court finds substance in the submission made by learned State Counsel. This Court thinks that ends of justice would be met if petitioner is 2025:UHC:8499 permitted to make representation to the Competent Authority. 6. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of by permitting petitioner to make representation to Director, School Education for redressal of her grievance. If petitioner makes representation within two weeks from today, decision thereupon shall be taken, within six months thereafter.
