Petitioner is serving as Assistant Teacher in a Government Junior High School at Kopa Munsyari, District Udham Singh Nagar. 4. By means of this writ petition, petitioner has sought the following reliefs:- “(i) To issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for his transfer from Govt. Primary School Kpa Basanta, Block Gadarpur, District Udham Singh Nagar (posted at Govt. Primary School Kunwakheda Block Gadarpur District Udham Singh Nagar) to any other school as per the choice given by him in his “application form” dated 19.05.2023. (ii) To issue a writ order or direction in the nature of certiorari quashing the order dated 19.01.2023 (Contained as Annexure no. 8 to this petition).” 5. According to petitioner, he has served at durgam places for sufficiently long period of time, therefore, he is entitled to be posted at a sugam place. 6. Since transfer order has to be passed by the competent authority, therefore, the writ petition is disposed of with liberty to petitioner to make representation for his transfer to some other school. If he makes representation within ten days from today, decision thereupon shall be taken by the competent authority, within four months thereafter.
