ORAL ORDER
(PER: THE HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE M.NAGAPRASANNA)
1. The petitioner is before this Court seeking the following prayer. a. “Declare that the impugned selection proceedings vide ANNEXUER-C dated 15.11.2014 in respect of appointment of Anganwadi Assistant in Yankanchi-1village-S.C.Colony of Badami Taluk as illegal and the same having been passed in violation and derogation of the appointment notification guidelines and regulations vide ANNEXURE-A dated 17.02.2014, bearing No.ShiAa YoB/anka/Arji/2013-14, issue by the Respondent No.8 in the interest of justice and equity.

b. Issue a Writ in the nature of Certiorari quashing the impugned provisional selection list in respect of Sl.No.4 pertaining to appointment of Anganwadi Assistant in Yankanchi-1village-S.C.Colony of Badami Taluk dated nil issued by Respondent No.8 vide ANNEXURE-D bearing No.nil, in the interest of justice and equity. c. Issue a Writ in the nature of Mandamus directing the Respondents No.1 to 8 to issue the appointment order to the Petitioner to the post of Assistant in Anganwadi of Yankanchi-1village-S.C.Colony pursuant to the notification dated 17.02.2014 bearing No.SlhiAaYoB/Anka/Arji/2013-14, issued by the Respondent No.8 vide Annexure-A in the interest of justice and equity. d. Pass such other order or orders as this Hon’ble Court may deem fit to grant in the circumstances of the case, including an order as to cost, in the interest of justice and equity.”
2. A perusal of the prayer indicates that what is called into question is a provisional list for the appointment of Anganwadi workers. Ten years have passed, and the final list has already been issued, as submitted by the learned HCGP. No challenge has been laid to the final list. Therefore, the petition, in its present form, is rendered infructuous. 3. In that light, it is disposed of as having become infructuous. Sd/- (M.NAGAPRASANNA) JUDGE
