For Respondents For R1 : Mr.R.Ganesh Kumar, Counsel for Government of Tamil Nadu (Criminal Side) ORDER This writ petition has been filed praying for a direction to the 1st respondent to withdraw the look out circular (LOC) issued to the respondent No.3 against the petitioner in connection with Cr.No. 12/2023 in C.C.No.1639 of 2025 pending before the XVIII Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai 2. The petitioner is an accused in CC.No.1639 of 2025 on the file of the XVIII Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai and facing charges for the offence punishable under Sections 498(a), 294(b), 420, 406 & 506(i) of IPC, Section 75 of Juvenile Justice Act. The petitioner is an australian citizen and he obtained Overseas Citizen of India card. While pending investigation in crime No.12 of 2023, on the request of the first respondent, look out circular was issued against the petitioner. Thereafter, the petitioner also obtained anticipatory bail on condition that the petitioner shall obtain necessary permission from the trial court if he https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.Crl.No.1538 of 2025 wants to visit abroad. Thereafter, the petitioner also obtained necessary permission and visited abroad. Therefore, the look out circular issued against the petitioner has already been acted upon. As such, no purpose would serve in keeping the loot out circular pending. 3. In view of the above, the look out circular (LOC) issued to the respondent No.3 against the petitioner in connection with Cr.No. 12/2023 in C.C.No.1639 of 2025 pending before the XVIII Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai, is hereby withdrawn on condition that the petitioner shall not leave India without permission of the trial court in C.C.No.1639 of 2025. 4. In the result, the writ petition stands disposed of.
