This writ petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "(A) To issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no. 2 to decide the application dated 20.02.2025 of petitioners pending before the respondent no.2 (Annexure No.4 to this writ petition)." 2. It is contended that private respondents had initiated proceeding under Section 24 of U.P. Revenue Code, 2006, which is pending consideration. The dispute relates to boundary walls. 3. As proceedings are already pending consideration before revenue authorities, no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending or calling for counter affidavit or issuing notice to private respondents. This Court directs the revenue authorities to proceed with application under Section 24 of U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 filed by private respondents and conclude the said proceedings, in accordance with law, after hearing petitioners also, within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order, . 4. With the aforesaid directions, writ petition stands disposed of. 5. It is made clear that this Court has not adjudicated the matter on merits.
