The case of the prosecution is that, despite several warnings given by the first accused/petitioner to his wife, she continued her illicit relationship with one Joseph. Thereby, on the alleged date of occurrence, the first accused along with other accused assaulted the deceased with knife, resulting in her death. Hence the case. 3. The contention of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner is that the petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submitted that the petitioner is ready to abide by any stringent condition that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he prayed for the grant of bail to the petitioner. 4. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent police reiterated the prosecution case and opposed for the grant of bail to the petitioner stating that against the petitioner, six previous cases are pending. 5. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record. 6.
