Neutral Citation No. - 2025:AHC:133933
Court No. - 34 Case :- WRIT - C No. - 26463 of 2025 Petitioner :- Ramakant And 5 Others Respondent :- State Of U.P. And 5 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Akhilesh Tripathi Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C. Hon'ble Rohit Ranjan Agarwal,J. This writ petition has been filed with the following prayers:
"a) issue writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding to decide the stay application filed by the petitioners in Revision No. C202514000002398 of 2025 within a time period stipulated by this Hon'ble Court. b) issue writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding to the respondent authorities to maintain status quo till disposal of the stay application filed by the petitioners in Revision No. C202514000002398 of 2025 (Ramakant and others vs. Shyam Lal and another). It is contended that a stay application is pending consideration in Revision No. C202514000002398 of 2025. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the said stay application may be decided expeditiously. As no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending or issuing notice to the private respondents, the writ petition is being disposed of, at the admission stage, without calling for counter affidavit, with a direction upon authority concerned to decide the stay application pending in Revision No. C202514000002398 of 2025, in accordance with law, after hearing all affected parties, preferably within a period of two weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order. With the aforesaid direction, present writ petition stands disposed of. It is made clear that this Court has not adjudicated the case on merit.
