Mr. Amar Murti Shukla, learned counsel for the petitioner. 2. Mr. D.S. Patni, learned counsel holding brief of Mr. Dharmendra Barthwal, learned counsel for the respondent. 3. The petitioner is praying for the following reliefs:- (a) Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of Certiorari quashing the impugned order dated 22.05.20218 (Annexure-6) issued by respondent no.3. (b) Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding and directing the respondents to forthwith reinstate the services of the petitioner along with all consequential monetary benefits including arrears of salary. (c) Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding and directing the respondents to pay suitable and adequate monetary compensation to the petitioner for his mental harassment by ousting him from service w.e.f. 22.05.2018 without following the due process of law and by playing foul play. 4. On the previous date the respondent was directed to produce the original records relating to the inquiry report dated 18.10.2018. 5. Today, learned Senior Advocate Mr. D.S. Patni apprise this Court that now the petitioner has been reinstated in the service by order dated 16.09.2025 and, therefore, the grievance of the petitioner has now been redressed. 6. In view of such development, since the petitioner has been reinstated in the service, there is no fruitful purpose to keep this petition pending.
