The petitioner is before this Court seeking for the following reliefs: (a) Issue writ of mandamus, by considering the representation given by the petitioner on 10.11.2023 vide Annexure-G2 and direct the respondents to pay the balance award amount, allowances, and interest in respect of converted land bearing Sy.No.126 measuring 1110 Sq. meter of Kenchanakuppe Village as per the orders of the Deputy Commissioner cum Arbitrator vide : Annexure-C in favour of the petitioner in ¥ÀæPÀgÀt ¸ÀASÉå:J¯ïJPÀÆå(J)/J£ÉJZï-275/¹Dgï- 46/2020-21. (b) Pass such other writ, order or directions as may be deemed fit to issue in the circumstances of this case, including an order as to cost, in the interest of justice and equity. 2. Essentially, what has been sought for is a mandamus directing the respondents to pay the balance award amount in pursuance of the acquisition proceedings - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:49170 WP No. 23793 of 2025 initiated as regards the lands of the petitioner. The award having been passed by the Deputy Commissioner and Arbitrator, NH-275, Ramanagara District, Ramanagara, under Section 3G(5) of the National Highways Act, 1956, the same can be enforced by way of an execution proceedings. 3. A mandamus cannot be issued directing the respondents to make payment of the award amount as held by this Court in W.P.No.2933/2024 dated 13.12.2025. Hence, I pass the following: ORDER i) The writ petition is dismissed. ii) Liberty is reserved to the petitioner to seek for an execution of the award, which has been passed in favour of the petitioner.
