Heard Mr. S.Munir, learned counsel for the petitioner Dharmndra Mandal who has filed this application under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Page No.# 2/2 Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 with a prayer for pre-arrest bail as he is apprehending arrest in connection with Sonapur Police Station Case No. 217/ 2024 under Sections 191(2)/191(3)/121(2)/132/ 117(2)/118(2)/324(4)/325(5)/61(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023. 2. Heard learned Additional Public Prosecutor Mr. D.P. Goswami for the respondent State. 3. The allegation against the petitioner is that he has obstructed and assaulted the police along with the co-accused persons named in the FIR when the police tried to obstruct the gambling activities held in an illegal manner. 4. I have considered the submissions at the bar with circumspection. I have also scrutinized the Case Diary. It appears that the petitioner has appeared before the I.O. and has co-operated with the investigation. His statements has also been recorded and has not violated the bail condition. 5. Considering all the aspects, the interim bail granted to the petitioner on 28.02.2025 is hereby made absolute. 6. Send back the Case Diary. 7. The Anticipatory Bail application stands disposed of.
