The present contempt application has been filed pleading willful disobedience of the order dated 28.8.2024 passed by this Court in Writ-A No. 7877 of 2024. In pursuance to the previous order passed by this Court, the Standing Counsel has filed the affidavit of the Deputy Director of Secondary Education, Varanasi Region, Varanasi, who is also personally present in the Court. The affidavit discloses that the G.P.F. amount due to the applicant has been paid and credited in his account and suitable instructions have been sent to the Life Insurance Company of India for payment of the amount due to the applicant under the Group Insurance Scheme. The affidavit also discloses that an order dated 3.2.2025 has been passed by the District Inspector of Schools, Jaunpur recommending that the applicant was not eligible for pensionary benefits. The applicant has the remedy to challenge the order dated 3.2.2025 before appropriate Forum. So far as the payment of the amount due to the applicant under the Group Insurance Scheme is concerned, it would serve no purpose to keep the present contempt application pending. The contempt application is disposed of with a direction to the District Inspector of Schools, Jaunpur to ensure that the amount due to the applicant under the Group Insurance Scheme is credited in the account of the applicant within one month from today and in any case by 15.4.2025. No further orders are required to be passed in the present contempt application. Notices are discharged. Let the file be consigned to record.
