Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel for the State-respondent, and perused the material on record. 2. The instant writ petition has been filed by the petitioners seeking protection from the police against threat to their life and property. 3. Learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel states that on police verification it's revealed that respondent no. 4 has died on 15.1.2021 and in this regard a death certificate has also been issued by the Registrar (Birth & Death) Nagar Panchayat, Bhogaon, Mainpuri and therefore, the instant petition is misconceived and has been filed on the frivolous averments by arraying a dead person as necessary party. 4. In such circumstances, the instant petition is dismissed with a cost of Rs.25,000/-. The petitioners are directed to deposit the amount of cost within thirty days from today in the accounts of Employees Welfare Fund, High Court, Allahabad, failing which, the same shall be recovered as arrears of land revenue.
