In this petition, the petitioner has sought for a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation dated 09.12.2021 (Annexure-A) made by the petitioner. 3. Having taken note of the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the parties, the petitioner herein has been charge sheeted in Crime No.153/2018 of Kanakapura Town Police Station for the offenses punishable under Sections 504, 498-A, 494, 419, 114, - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:49798 WP No. 23959 of 2022 506, 323, 327, 342, 376-B and 34 of IPC read with Section 3(1)(s) of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Amendment Act, 2015. 4. Having taken note of the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as respondent-State, the writ petition cannot be accepted for directing the respondents herein to consider the representation made by the petitioner at this stage, in view of the pendency of the proceedings before the Competent Court in Crime No.153/2018 referred to above. However, it is open for the petitioner to approach the Competent Authority under Section 20D of the Karnataka Police Act for redressal of his grievance, if so aggrieved by the action of the respondent. 5.
