CORAM:
HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE WASIM SADIQ NARGAL, JUDGE.
ORDER 30.04.2025
01. It has been fairly stated by learned counsel for the petitioner that the
Judgment which is sought to be complied with through the medium of the instant contempt petition has been complied with to the extent of 90% of the total amount and the rest of 10% of the total amount is yet to be paid to the petitioner, and the same will be complied within a period of three weeks as assured by learned counsel for the respondents.
02. In the light of assurance extended by learned counsel for the respondents no fruitful purpose would be served to keep this contempt petition alive. Accordingly, the proceedings in the instant contempt petition are closed
and the respondents are directed to pay the balance amount of 10% of the total amount to the petitioner within a period of two weeks.
03. Rule, if any framed, shall stand discharged.
04. It is made clear that in case the order is not complied in view of the aforesaid directions, the petitioner will be at liberty to seek revival of the contempt petition and in that eventuality, this Court will be constrained to take coercive measures against the respondents.
