This is a petition for anticipatory bail, filed under Section 482 of Bharatiya Nagrik Surakhsa Sanhita, 2023 (hereinafter referred to as ‘BNSS’), in a case arising out of FIR No.133 dated 25.12.2023 under Sections 336, 427, 506, 148, 149 and 307 of IPC, 1860 and Section 25, Arms Act, 1959, Police Station Sadar Gurdaspur, District Gurdaspur. 2. Vide order dated 25.07.2025, the petitioner was admitted to interim anticipatory bail, subject to the condition of furnishing bail/surety bonds to the satisfaction of Investigating/Arresting Officer. The petitioner was also directed to cooperate with the Investigating/Arresting Officer. 3. On the instructions of SI Surjit Singh, learned State Counsel has stated that the petitioner has already joined the investigation and that presence of petitioner is not required for further investigation of the present case.
