The present petition has been filed by the petitioners for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent to immediately release the financial assistance of Rs.10 lac as per policy dated 08.07.2019 (Annexure P-3) with a further direction to release the benefits accruing in favour of the petitioners in terms of the said policy. 2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners, on instructions, submits that at this stage, the petitioners will be satisfied if a direction is given to respondent No.2 to decide the legal notice dated 04.11.2024 (Annexure P-7), in a time bound manner. 3. Notice of motion. 4. On advance notice, Mr. Piyush Khanna, Additional Advocate General, Haryana appears on behalf of respondents No. 1 & 2 and waives service. He does not oppose the limited prayer made by the petitioners. 5. In view thereof, without commenting anything upon the merits of the claim raised by the petitioners, the instant petition is disposed disposed of with a direction to respondent No. 2 to decide the legal notice dated 04.11.2024 (Annexure P-7) within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. 6.
