This application under Section 529 BNSS has been filed seeking direction to the court below for expeditious disposal of Criminal Case No.517 of 2022 (Arti Tiwari and another vs. Arvind Tiwari) under Section 125 Cr.P.C., District Prayagraj pending in the court of Principal Judge, Family Court, Prayagraj within a shortest span of time as fixed by this Court. 3. Learned counsel for the applicants submits that the applicant no.1 is the wife of opposite party no.2. She has moved an application under Section 125 Cr.P.C. for maintenance in which notice was issued but opposite party no.2 did not appear, thereafter, the applicant no.1 has moved application for interim maintenance which is still pending. 4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case but without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this application is finally disposed of with a direction to the court concerned to decide the aforesaid Criminal Case No.517 of 2022, expeditiously, preferentially within a period of six months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order, if there is no other legal impediment.
