Mrs.Lakshmi and Patta No.5438 standing in the name of Mr. Sanjan John and Mrs.Reena John which was issued based on sham, nominal and void documents that has been now declared by the judgement and decree in O.S.No.291of 2009 dated 10.11.2025 passed by the District Munsif, Ponneri. Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners have made a representation dated 20.11.2025 before the respondents to cancel the patta No.5394 standing the name of Late.Mrs.Lakshmi and Patta No.5438 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 50422 of 2025 __________ Page3 of 5 standing in the name of Mr.Sanjan John and Mrs.Reena John which was issued based on sham, nominal and void documents that has been now declared by the judgement and decree in O.S.No.291of 2009 dated 10.11.2025 passed by the District Munsif, Ponneri. However, the said representation was not considered, as on date. Hence, this writ petition. 3. Mr.B.Pachaiyappan, learned Government’s Counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 4 and submitted that the petitioners’ representation dated 20.11.2025 will be considered within a period of twelve weeks. 4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record. 5. Considering the limited relief sought by the learned counsel for the petitioners, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the third respondent to dispose of the petitioners’ representation dated 20.11.2025, after issuing due notice to the petitioners and newly impleaded respondents 5 to 8 and other aggrieved persons, if any, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 50422 of 2025 __________ Page4 of 5 6.
