JUSTICE SURAJ GOVINDARAJ ORAL ORDER 1. Learned AGA accepts notice for respondent Nos.1 and 2. 2. The petitioner is before this Court seeking for the following reliefs: "1. Issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction, directing Respondent No.1 to consider and decide the petitioner's representations dated 17-04- 2025(Annexure A) and subsequent representations (Annexures B and C) dated 05.05.2025 and 19.08.2025 and pass a reasoned order thereon in accordance with law within a time frame that this Hon'ble Court may fix and/or. 2. Direct Respondent No.1 to refer the matter to Respondent No.3 (Election Commission Of India) for its opinion under article 192 of the Constitution of India (if so required) and to take further steps in accordance with law in consequence of the Election Commission's opinion and/or. - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:42212 WP No. 29944 of 2025 3. Direct the respondents to file compliance affidavits before this Hon'ble Court stating the action taken / proposed to be taken, within such time as this Hon'ble Court may fix; and/or. 4. Award costs of this petition to the petitioner and/or. 5. Pass such other or further orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit in the interest of justice and equity." 3. A perusal of the representation dated 17.04.2025 indicates that the petitioner is seeking for a mandamus to disqualify a Member of Legislative Assembly. There is no vested interest on the petitioner to seek for a mandamus of that kind. If at all the petitioner has any grievance, the petitioner could resort to appropriate proceedings. 4.
