She with her husband resides with three of their sons. The third son resides elsewhere. His wife is private respondent no.2. The third son took her to his house saying she needed treatment and got signed documents to grab the properties. Case no.7613 of 2025 (Smt. Kela Devi vs. Smt. Sheela Devi), filed under section 23 of Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 is pending before respondent no.1 (the Sub-Divisional Magistrate). He seeks direction upon said respondent for expeditious disposal of the case. Mr. Raj Mohan Upadhyaya, learned advocate, Additional Chief Standing Counsel appears on behalf of State. On query he submits, by six weeks the case ought to be decided. Mr. Upadhyaya is requested to immediately communicate website copy of this order to respondent no.1. We expect above-mentioned case will be considered and decided expeditiously on or before 15th October, 2025. Petitioner will also communicate certified copy of this order to said respondent.
