For Petitioner : Mr.B.Manimaran For Respondents For R1 to 4 : Mr.R.Ganesh Kumar, Counsel for Government of Tamil Nadu (Criminal Side) ORDER This writ petition has been filed praying for a direction to the 3rd respondent police to provide necessary police protection in pursuant to the letter dated 10.09.2025 in Va.Pa.No.1, 12/2025/T, on the file of the 2nd respondent relating to survey of the property in Chinna Seeragapatty Village Salem South Taluk, comprised in Survey Nos.27/6A and 22/1B 2B. 2. According to the petitioner, she submitted an application to survey her aforementioned land before the authority concerned. However, while surveying the land, the fifth respondent prevented them from surveying the land. Therefore, the second respondent by letter dated 10.09.2025 sought police protection. However, no police protection was given. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 22.10.2025 before respondents 1 & 3, which is still pending. In view of the above, on the letter dated 10.09.2025 of the second respondent, the third respondent is directed to provide adequate police protection to the surveyor concerned while surveying the aforementioned petitioner’s land. 4.
