SUTHAR Date : 07/10/2025 ORAL ORDER Present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking direction to the police authorities to provide police protection to the petitioners. Having heard learned advocate for the petitioners and perusing the record, it appears that the petitioners got married on 13.05.2025 and till date no any untoward incident has taken place. Learned APP for the respondent No.1 – State of Gujarat has pointed out that against respondent No.4, complaint is registered by the mother in law of the present petitioner No.1 but no any untoward incident is reported. In view of above, today there being no any threat perception, no case is made out to issue any direction in exercise of powers under Article 226 of the Constitution of India. Hence, present petition is disposed of with liberty in favor of the petitioners to file a fresh petition in future if there is any threat perception and in that event, respondent No.2 shall look into the same independentyly on its own merits.
