GP FOR HOME (AP) The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... a writ order or direction more particularly one in the nature of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents 2 to 4 to conclude the enquiry for providing police protection to the petitioners and their properties from the hands of the respondents 6 to 10 as illegal arbitrary and violation of Articles 1z 21 and 300A of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents 2 to 4 to initiate appropriate proceedings to curb the unofficial respondents from causing breach of peace and public tranquility” 2. Sri Md.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home would submit that the dispute between both the parties is purely civil in nature. In such circumstances, unless there is a specific direction to the police, it is difficult to provide police protection. 3. In that view, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, the petitioners are at liberty to work out their remedies before appropriate forum, in accordance with law. There shall be no order as to costs.
