Present petition under Section 528 of BNSS, 2023 has been filed for seeking directions to the Court below i.e. the Court of Additional Sessions Judge, Hoshiapur, to decide the revision petition bearing No.CRR No.104/2024 dated 01.08.2024 titled as ‘Gurnam Singh Vs. State of Punjab and Others’, which is now pending for 04.08.2025 (Annexure P-3) in a time bound manner. 2. Counsel for the petitioner contends that the land which is the subject matter of dispute is the only source of livelihood with the petitioner and the revision petition against Kalandra under Section 145 Cr.P.C is pending before the Court concerned since 01.08.2024. 3. He further submits that the petitioner seeks a limited prayer for directing the Revisional Court to decide the criminal revision petition already pending before it within a time-bound manner, so that status of land can be adjudicated. 4. Noticing the submissions, and considering the fact that revision petition titled CRR-104-2024, Gurnam Singh vs. State of Punjab and Others, dated 01.08.2024, is pending before the concerned Court at Hoshiarpur, the said Court is directed to decide the revision petition expeditiously, preferably within 10 weeks from today. 6.
