Petitioner has been made accused in connection with Koderma P.S. Case No. 14 of 2025, for the offences registered under Sections 303(2),317(2), 318(2), 336(3), 338 and 3(5) of the B.N.S., 2023 and Rule 13 of the Jharkhand Minerals (Prevention of Illegal Mining Transportation & Storage), Rules 2017 and Rule 54 of the Jharkhand Minor Minerals and Concession Rules, 2004, pending in the Court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Koderma.
On 26.01.2025, Koderma police on the basis of confidential information intercepted a truck bearing registration No.JH12G-0247 near Sahana Road, Koderma and seized 24 tonnes of quartz, which was loaded on the said vehicle.
It was submitted that petitioner is the driver of the said truck. It was further submitted that the petitioner was transporting the seized quartz at the instance of the owner of the said vehicle. It was further submitted that petitioner is in custody since 27.01.2025 and similarly situated co-accused persons have been granted bail by a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court.

In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Koderma, in connection with Koderma P.S. Case No. 14 of 2025.
