The appellant/accused has preferred this appeal challenging the order dated 15.09.2025 whereunder the trial Court has partly allowed his application for interim bail to attend his niece’s marriage 3. The appellant is in judicial custody facing trial in Spl.C No.152/2021 for the offences punishable under Sections 120B, 34, 149 r/w 143, 145, 147, 188, 427, 436, 353 of IPC and 16, 18, 20 of UA (P)A Act Section 2 of the Karnataka Prevention of Destruction & Loss of Property Act, 1981. 4. Memo dated 03.09.2025 was filed before Trial Court seeking two days of interim bail i.e., 17.09.2025 to 18.09.2025 on the ground that marriage of his niece was scheduled to take place on those days in C.M.A. Royal Convention & Wedding - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:38614-DB CRL.A No.1893/2025 Hall, Thanisandra Main Road, Ashwath Nagar, Bangalore-560 077. By impugned order the trial Court has granted interim bail to attend to the marriage between 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. on 18.09.2025 at C.M.A. Royal Convention & Wedding Hall, Thanisandra Main Road, Ashwath Nagar, Bangalore-560 077 with certain conditions. 5. This appeal is filed on the ground that the marriage function is scheduled at Masjid-E-Ayesha, Police Quarters Road, New Shanti Nagar, Hegde Nagar, Bangalore-560 077 and reception is at C.M.A. Royal Convention & Wedding Hall, Thanisandra Main Road, Ashwath Nagar, Bangalore-560 077. 6. Learned SPP on enquiry submits that marriage is scheduled at Masjid-E-Ayesha, Police Quarters Road, New Shanti Nagar, Hegde Nagar, Bangalore-560 077. Therefore the order requires to be modified only to the extent of permitting the appellant to attend the marriage at Masjid-E-Ayesha, Police Quarters Road, New Shanti Nagar, Hegde Nagar, Bangalore-560 077 and reception function at C.M.A. Royal Convention & Wedding Hall, Thanisandra Main Road, Ashwath - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:38614-DB CRL.A No.1893/2025 Nagar, Bangalore-560 077 between 10.00 a.m. and 8.00 p.m. on 18.09.2025. Hence the following: ORDER (1) The appellant is permitted to attend the Nikah function of his niece situated at Masjid-E-Ayesha, Police Quarters Road, New Shanti Nagar, Hegde Nagar, Bangalore- 560 077 and Valima Dinner upto 8.00 p.m. in C.M.A. Royal Convention & Wedding Hall, Thanisandra Main Road, Ashwath Nagar, Bangalore-560 077 under police escort. (2) The order of the trial Court regarding escort charges and direction to the Superintendent of Police, Central Prison for making arrangements and execution of aforesaid order in coordination with other concerned authorities is maintained.
