ORDER 21.02.2025 Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that during the pendency of the review petition, the petitioner has attained the age of superannuation. Through the medium of the review petition, the petitioner had raised a grievance that he is the only person who has been repatriated to JK Cements where a similarly situated employees have been deputed to other Department. According to the review petitioner, due to this discrimination, his rights have been prejudiced. Having regard to the fact that the petitioner has already been superannuated, therefore even if the review petition is allowed, he cannot be granted relief which he is seeking as a consequence of the proposed review. The review petition has, therefore been rendered infructuous and is accordingly disposed of. The petitioner is at liberty to avail appropriate remedy if so advised.
