NARENDRA PRASAD ORAL ORDER This writ petition is filed under Articles 226 & 227 of the Constitution of India, seeking the following relief: “Issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to afford an opportunity to the petitioner thereby providing an appointment on compassionate ground by considering the application/representation dated 20.06.2011, the same is marked as Annexure-C.” - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:33451 WP No. 20030 of 2021 2. The case of the petitioner is that her husband was working as an Assistant Teacher at the fifth respondent – Institution. He died on 23.08.2010 (Annexure-B) while in service. Immediately, thereafter, the petitioner, who is the wife of the deceased, filed an application for appointment on compassionate grounds on 20.06.2011 (Annexure-C). Thereafter, by communication dated 09.03.2012 (Annexure-F) the Director of Secondary Education has written a letter to the Deputy Director of Public Instructions, Administration, requesting to submit certain documents. Thereafter, the petitioner submitted the relevant documents. Since the application filed by the petitioner has not been considered till today, the petitioner has approached this Court. 3. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this writ petition stands disposed of. The respondent Nos.1 to 4 are directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 20.06.2011 (Annexure-C), in accordance with law, - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:33451 WP No. 20030 of 2021 as expeditiously as possible, not later than four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
