JUSTICE E.S.INDIRESH ORAL ORDER Heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties 2. In this writ petition the petitioner is assailing the order dated 17.08.2021 passed by Respondent No.1 (Annexure-G) and the order dated 29.01.2021 passed by Respondent No.2 (Annexure-E) inter alia seeking for a direction to the respondent-Authorities to restore the autorisation by maintaining minimum of 800 cards as required under Order 11 of Karnataka Essential Commodities (Public Distribution System) Control Order, 2016 (hereinafter referred to as 'the Order, 2016') in favour of the petitioner. 3. Having taken note of the submission made by the learned counsel for the parties, the respondent-Authorities have taken a decision to minimize the ration cards as per the letter addressed by the Local MLA of Jagalur, as mentioned in the impugned orders at Annexures G and E. - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:41836 WP No. 21210 of 2021 4. In that view of the matter, Respondent-Authorities have not acted based on the factual aspects on record but have acted as per the letter addressed by the then MLA of Jagalur. Therefore, I find that there is no application of mind by the Respondent-Authorities. 5. Accordingly, I pass the following : ORDER i) Writ petition is allowed; ii) The Order dated 17.08.2021 (Annexure-G) passed by Respondent No.1 and Order dated 29.01.2021 (Annexure-E) passed by Respondent No.2 are hereby set aside.
