This is an application under Section 483 of the BNSS, 2023 whereby the petitioner Debasish Das has prayed for releasing him on bail in connection with All Women P.S. Case No.22/2025 under Section 69 of the BNS, 2023 (corresponding to G.R. No.1019/2025). 3. A girl/informant working in a business concerned, had developed relationship with her male colleague i.e. the present petitioner. He promised to marry her and on that promise, he had physical relationship with her. He had taken some nude photographs of the girl/informant. The girl even used to make video calls without wearing clothes. 4. Now, she claims that the present petitioner has threatened her that he will make those videos and photographs viral in the social medial. She says that several time she had physical relationship with the petitioner. She used to take contraceptive tablets also. 5. I have heard the learned counsel of both sides. 6. The petitioner has already spent 10 days in judicial custody. This Court is of the opinion that the petitioner does not deserve to be detained in custody for any further period of time. His bail application is allowed. 7. It is hereby directed that the petitioner Debasish Das who was arrested in connection with All Women P.S. Case No.22/2025 under Section 69 of the BNS, 2023 (corresponding to G.R. No.1019/2025), shall be released on bail of ₹20,000/- with a surety of like amount to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kamrup (M), Guwahati.
