This application under Section 529 BNSS has been filed seeking direction to the court below for expeditious disposal of Criminal Case No.186 of 2024 (Anuradha vs. Gyaneshwar Singh), under Section 125 Cr.P.C., District Meerut pending in the court of Principal Judge, Family Court, Meerut within a shortest span of time as fixed by this Court. 3. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant is the wife of opposite party no.2. She has moved an application under Section 125 Cr.P.C. for maintenance which is still pending. 4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case but without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this application is finally disposed of with a direction to the court concerned to decide the aforesaid Criminal Case No.186 of 2024, expeditiously, preferentially within a period of six months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order, if there is no other legal impediment.
