1. Present petition has been filed under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 seeking issuance of direction to official respondents to provide police protection to the petitioner and his family and further prayer has been made to decide the representation dated 26.05.2025 (Annexure P-4) filed by petitioner at the earliest. 2. It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that mother of the petitioner is the complainant in case FIR No.332 dated 17.05.2025 under Sections 103(1), 190, 191(3) of BNS, 2023 and Section 25 of the Arms Act, 1959 (Annexure P-2) for the murder of their driver. He submits that after the said FIR having been registered, now the petitioner and his family members are being threatened to compromise the same by accused side. He further submits that petitioner had already filed a representation dated 26.05.2025 (Annexure P-4) before respondent No.2-Commissioner of Police, Faridabad but the same has not been taken into consideration till date. CRM-M-39897-2025 -2- dated 26.05.2025 (Annexure P-4) is decided in a time bound manner. 3. Notice of motion. 4. On the asking of the Court, Mr. Sumit Jain, Addl. AG, Haryana accepts notice on behalf of the respondents-State. 5. Heard. 6. After hearing counsel for the parties, respondent No.2- Commissioner of Police, Faridabad is directed to decide the representation dated 26.05.2025 (Annexure P-4) filed by the petitioner expeditiously preferably within two weeks from today, in accordance with law. However, State would ensure the protection of the life and liberty of the petitioner and his family members. 7. In view of the above, present petition is disposed of. 8. It is being clarified that this order shall not be taken to grant immunity to the petitioner for legal action for violation of the law, if any, committed by him.
