By way of this petition, under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, the petitioner has prayed for quashment of the FIR being C.R.No.11208035200032 of 2020 registered with Gandhigram Police Station, Rajkot City against the petitioners for the offences punishable under the sections 65(e), 116(b) and 98(2) of the Prohibition Act qua the petitioners. 2. Heard learned advocates for the parties. 3. Other accused who have allegedly played higher role in commission of offence have been acquitted in Criminal Case No.3829 of 2020. Learned JMFC recorded acquittal of the other accused on the ground that prosecution has failed to prove allegations levelled in the FIR. Copy of judgment passed by learned Trial Court in Criminal Case No.3829 of 2020 is taken on record. R/CR.MA/1909/2020 ORDER DATED: 29/09/2025 4. In view of above, putting present applicants in trial would be absurd process. 5. In the result, the application is allowed. The impugned FIR being C.R.No.11208035200032 of 2020 registered with Gandhigram Police Station, Rajkot City and all the consequential proceedings arising therefrom are hereby quashed and set aside qua the petitioners herein.
