Heard the parties.
The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Manika P.S. Case No. 80 of 2024, for the offence registered under Sections 25(1- B)(a)/26 of the Arms Act and Section 17 of the CLA Act, pending in the court of learned A.C.J.M., Latehar.
On 23.12.2024, Manika police apprehended this petitioner from a place near Doki more. On search, a country-made pistol and seven live cartridges were recovered from his possession.
Mr. Nawin Kr. Singh, learned A.P.P on behalf of the State submitted that petitioner is a hard-core extremist and he is an accused in as many as three cases.
Considering the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is hereby rejected at this stage.
